  pandemic, we quickly learned how to navigate work, school and even social
  activities online.  As we head back to in-person activities, it is predic
 ted that a significant portion of our professional lives will remain onlin
 e.  Recognizing that online environments are different from in-person acti
 vities, neither better nor worse, we need to understand when to use them a
 nd how best to integrate them into our lives. Online environments have man
 y challenges but also many benefits. Remote participation can give us more
  flexibility, but also make establishing relationships with people more co
 mplicated. How can we interact effectively with colleagues working remotel
 y, network at online events and connect with our communities?\n\nThis sess
 ion begins with tips for getting the most out of your remote SC conference
  experience and expands into a discussion of strategies for navigating onl
 ine environments. This event uses a mixture of discussion and hands-on exp
 loration.  Everyone is welcome to participate and contribute to this conve
