 rogeneous computing is increasingly becoming the norm in computing systems
 . In addition to hardware innovation, the community needs to shift the sof
 tware environment to enable heterogeneity in an equitable, secure and sust
 ainable manner. With increasing innovation in the accelerator space, there
  is a growing diversity in the systems built around them, and their softwa
 re and management stacks. As a result, end users are encountering increasi
 ng difficulty in reusing applications across different, and potentially mu
 ltiple, accelerators.  \n\nTo address these problems, the “Programming Env
 ironments for Heterogeneous Computing” workshop will gather users, researc
 hers, hardware and software developers to address the opportunities and ch
 allenges of heterogeneity. Of particular interest are practical solutions 
 that address reuse, functional and performance portability, DevOps, low-co
 de and no-code development, and functional and non-functional characterist
 ics of run times, programming languages, compilers and tools. Of interest 
 are traditional HPC, cloud and edge, and convergence of HPC and AI.\n\nTag
