SUMMARY:INDIS'21: Welcome Message
DESCRIPTION:Workshop\n\nINDIS'21: Welcome Message\n\nNeuwirth, Kiran\n\nM
any fields of science continue to experience a large influx of data. Manag
ing and transporting data, architecting systems and building tools to deal
with the delivery of these data have become increasingly important. Addit
ionally, the ecosystem of information and communications frameworks suppor
ting data management and transport is becoming more and more complex. Netw
orks for data-intensive science have more extreme requirements than genera
l-purpose networks. These requirements not only closely impact the design
of processor interconnects in supercomputers and cluster computers, they a
lso impact campus networks, regional networks and national backbone networ
ks. This workshop brings together network engineers and researchers to sha
re challenges and potential solutions. We invite papers that propose new a
nd novel techniques that increase the capacity and functionality of scient
ific computing and wide-area networks.\n\nTag: Big Data, Cloud and Distrib

formance, Quantum Computing\n\nRegistration Category: Workshop Reg Pass
