SUMMARY:Modular, Flexible and Composable HPC Module, HPCM, from the Open C
 ompute Project
DESCRIPTION:Birds of a Feather\n\nModular, Flexible and Composable HPC Mod
ule, HPCM, from the Open Compute Project\n\nCantle, D'Hooge, Ciotti, Beest
on, Chapman\n\nThe Open Compute Project, OCP, is developing a set of inter
operable HPC building blocks addressing the convergence of big data, arti
ficial intelligence and HPC.\n\nThe aim of this BoF is to introduce OCP HP
C Subproject HPCM, High Performance Computing Module, to the supercomputin
g community as an efficient and cost effective option for many workloads.
The BoF panelists will review the OCP HPC Sub-project roadmap, giving a ho
listic perspective on Heterogeneous design, Data locality, Interconnect fl
exibility, efficiency, Power delivery, and Thermal Management. A Q&A discu
ssion with audience participation will follow, covering how to successfull
y bring this HPCM concept to reality.\n\nTag: Datacenter, Heterogeneous Sy
stems\n\nRegistration Category: Tech Program Reg Pass, Exhibit Hall Only
