 complexity of components required to compose next-generation extreme-scale
  systems mean that systems will experience significant increases in aggreg
 ate fault rates, fault diversity and fault complexity. Additionally, the w
 idespread availability of new storage devices (NVMM, NVMe, SSD), increasin
 g system heterogeneity, and the emergence of novel computing paradigms (ne
 uromorphic, quantum) introduce fault tolerance issues that the research co
 mmunity has just begun to address.\n\nDue to the continued need for resear
 ch on fault tolerance in extreme-scale systems, the 11th Workshop on Fault
 -Tolerance for HPC at Extreme Scale (FTXS 2021) will present an opportunit
 y for innovative research ideas to be shared, discussed and evaluated by r
 esearchers in fault-tolerance, resilience and reliability from academic, g
 overnment and industrial institutions. Building on the success of the prev
 ious editions of the FTXS workshop, the organizers will assemble quality p
 ublications and invited talks to facilitate a lively and thought-provoking
