 untry around the world. It’s only natural that the working environment wil
 l be different depending on the job type, career level, employer or geogra
 phical location. How should we know what is expected from us, and what to 
 expect for our workplace? And how should we manage those expectations? Som
 e of the topics covered in this session include: time-management, remote w
 orking, social interactions with colleagues inside and outside the workpla
 ce, professional written and oral communication, mobility within the organ
 isation and seeking opportunities for further development.  \n\nThis pane
 l will discuss different organisational cultures and how to be successful 
 in each type of culture. These cultures may vary between hierarchical to c
 ollaborative and they may have very different software development philoso
 phies. Also covered is how to avoid the traps of office politics. Everyone
